Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi – Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your guide. Depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, driving through the scenic Great Rift Valley escarpments. Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in search of rhinos, flamingos, pelicans, giraffes, and lions.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru – Drive to Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, drive across the Rift Valley plains into the iconic Masai Mara National Reserve, one of Africa’s finest wildlife destinations. Arrive for lunch and head out on your first Mara game drive in the afternoon, scanning the open savannah for elephants, giraffes, lions, and cheetahs.

Days 3–4: Full Days in Masai Mara
Spend two full days exploring the Mara ecosystem. The reserve is home to the Big Five and an abundance of predators and plains game. Between July and October, the Mara is the stage for the Great Wildebeest Migration, with river crossings that rank among the world’s most dramatic wildlife spectacles. Outside migration season, the Mara remains a top game-viewing destination year-round.
Optional: Hot-air balloon safari at sunrise, followed by a champagne breakfast in the bush.

Day 5: Masai Mara – Cross into Tanzania via Isebania – Northern Serengeti
After an early breakfast, drive south to the Isebania border post, complete immigration formalities, and meet your Tanzanian guide. Continue into the Serengeti, with game viewing en route. This northern section offers chances to spot migrating herds (seasonal) as well as lions, leopards, and elephants.

Days 6–7: Full Days in Serengeti National Park
Two full days to discover the magic of the Serengeti, with its endless plains, big cats, and dramatic predator-prey interactions. Depending on the season, game drives may focus on the central Seronera region or the northern corridors along the Mara River. Expect thrilling wildlife encounters and breathtaking scenery.

Day 8: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Highlands – Karatu
Enjoy a final Serengeti game drive at sunrise, then drive southeast toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Optional stop at the Olduvai Gorge, an important archaeological site. Continue to Karatu, a charming highland town with views over the Ngorongoro forests.

Day 9: Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Maasai Village – Tarangire
After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, often called the "Eighth Wonder of the World." This unique ecosystem hosts lions, black rhinos, flamingos, and large herds of buffalo and wildebeest. After lunch, drive toward Tarangire, stopping en route for a Maasai cultural visit. Evening game drive in Tarangire National Park, famous for elephants and baobabs.

Day 10: Tarangire Morning Drive – Transfer to Arusha – Fly to Entebbe (Uganda)
Enjoy a morning game drive in Tarangire before driving back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO). Board your flight to Entebbe, Uganda. On arrival, transfer to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 11: Mabamba Swamp Shoebill Safari – Overnight Entebbe
This morning, head to the wetlands of Mabamba Swamp on the shores of Lake Victoria, one of the best places in Africa to spot the elusive shoebill stork. Explore by canoe with a local guide, also spotting kingfishers, malachite sunbirds, and papyrus specialties. Afternoon at leisure to relax in Entebbe or explore botanical gardens.

Day 12: Fly Entebbe – Bwindi (Kisoro or Kihihi) – Transfer to Lodge
Take a domestic flight (Aerolink Uganda) from Entebbe to Kisoro or Kihihi Airstrip. On arrival, transfer through the scenic highlands to your lodge on the edge of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home of the mountain gorillas. Afternoon at leisure enjoying the views or short guided forest walks.

Day 13: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi – Batwa Cultural Experience
Today is the highlight: set off after briefing with rangers for a mountain gorilla trek. Hike through dense forest to meet one of the habituated families — an unforgettable hour watching gorillas in their natural habitat. In the evening, enjoy an optional Batwa cultural experience, learning about the forest traditions of Uganda’s indigenous people.

Day 14: Bwindi – Return to Entebbe – Connect Flight to Zanzibar
