Sport Fishing on the Victoria Nile

Today is set aside for fishing on the Victoria Nile, particularly the stretch below Murchison Falls. This part of the river is known for Nile perch, a popular target among anglers because of its size and strength.
Other fish found in the Nile include tigerfish, catfish, tilapia, and barbel. Depending on the fishing spot and conditions, you may fish from a boat or cast from suitable points along the riverbank.
Nile perch is the main attraction for many anglers, while tigerfish offers a different challenge. Your fishing guide will advise on the suitable methods and equipment for the area. Fishing arrangements, permits, and applicable catch-and-release requirements should be confirmed before the excursion. Spend the day on the water before returning to your lodge in the evening.
