Travel in comfort between destinations, with carefully selected luxury accommodation, private experiences and time to slow down and enjoy each setting. Discover the work behind gorilla conservation, explore Uganda’s rich primate forests, encounter iconic savannah wildlife and enjoy scenic landscapes along the way.

The Journey Begins

DAY 01

Entebbe | Conservation, Coffee And Lake Victoria

The Journey

Itinerary of Day 1

Arrive in Entebbe and settle into your luxury accommodation before beginning the safari with an introduction to Uganda’s conservation story.

Visit Gorilla Conservation Coffee, a social enterprise connecting coffee farmers around Bwindi with gorilla conservation through improved farmer livelihoods and sustainable coffee production. Enjoy a private coffee experience while learning how tourism, agriculture and conservation can work together.

Continue with a conservation and gorilla health talk, introducing the work involved in protecting mountain gorillas and maintaining the health of both gorillas and neighbouring communities.

Return to the lodge for a relaxed afternoon before enjoying sunset beside Lake Victoria. Dinner is accompanied by house drinks, creating an easy first evening in Uganda.

Arrive at your luxury lodge in the northern sector and enjoy lunch before taking time to settle in.

As the afternoon cools, board a private sunset boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. Rather than a rushed sightseeing trip, this is designed as an exclusive wildlife experience, with time to watch animals gathering along the water and enjoy the changing light across the channel.

Queen Elizabeth to Ishasha | Lion Conservation And the Southern Wilderness

The Journey

Begin the morning with a conservation-focused experience centred on lion monitoring and research in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Learn how conservation teams and rangers monitor individual lions, understand their movements and behaviour, and work to protect these important predators. The experience provides a closer look at the science and fieldwork behind wildlife conservation rather than simply observing lions from a safari vehicle.

After the experience, continue south towards Ishasha.

Arrive at your secluded wilderness lodge and enjoy an unhurried afternoon surrounded by the landscapes of southern Queen Elizabeth. Dinner, house drinks and a quiet evening complete the day.

Explore Ishasha on a private game drive, searching for its distinctive wildlife and, with luck, the famous tree-climbing lions resting in the branches of fig and acacia trees.

There is no need to fill the entire day with activities. Return to the lodge for a leisurely lunch, perhaps followed by a swim, private massage or time on your veranda overlooking the wilderness.

As the afternoon cools, enjoy a short game drive or simply remain at the lodge for a private sundowner.

Dinner is served in the wilderness setting, accompanied by house drinks.

Ishasha to Bwindi | Pangolin Conservation And the Forest

The Journey

Itinerary of Day 7

Leave Ishasha after breakfast and continue towards the Bwindi region.

En route, visit the Pangolin Rescue Centre for a private conservation experience. Learn about the threats facing pangolins, their rescue and rehabilitation, and the importance of working with surrounding communities to reduce pressure on wildlife.

The experience goes beyond viewing rescued animals. Guests can learn how conservation can support alternative livelihoods, including initiatives such as beekeeping, tree planting and other community-based enterprises.

There will also be an opportunity to make a direct conservation contribution to support the work.

Continue into the Bwindi highlands and settle into your luxury forest lodge. The remainder of the afternoon is free to enjoy the lodge, with a massage or spa treatment available before dinner.

With your specialist guide and trackers, enter the forest in search of a habituated gorilla family. Beyond the encounter itself, the experience provides insight into how gorilla tourism contributes to the protection of the forest and supports communities living around Bwindi.

Return to the lodge after the trek for lunch and complete relaxation.

A post-trek massage or spa treatment is included, followed by an afternoon with no scheduled activities. Enjoy the fireplace, views, gardens or private space at the lodge.

In the evening, celebrate the experience over a special dinner and house drinks.
